| local.thesis.elsummary | Τα κοινωνικά δίκτυα χρησιμοποιούνται από εκατομμύρια ανθρώπους σε καθημερινή βάση, γεγονός που έχει προκαλέσει την ανησυχία των επιστημόνων σχετικά με τις επιπτώσεις που ενδέχεται να έχουν στη ψυχική υγεία. Στη παρούσα έρευνα εξετάστηκε εάν η συχνότητα χρήσης των μέσων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης μπορεί να προβλέψει τα επίπεδα της κατάθλιψης, του άγχους και του στρες σε νέους ενήλικες 18 έως 25 ετών. Επίσης, διερευνήθηκε εάν στις τέσσερις παραπάνω μεταβλητές υπάρχει στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά ανάμεσα στα δύο φύλα. Για τη συλλογή των δεδομένων χορηγήθηκαν ερωτηματολόγια σε 93 άτομα (N= 93), τα οποία είναι χρήστες των κοινωνικών μέσων. Για τη στατιστική ανάλυση εφαρμόστηκε το κριτήριο της απλής γραμμικής παλινδρόμησης, το κριτήριο t ανεξάρτητων δειγμάτων και το κριτήριο Mann-Whitney. Τα ευρήματα της έρευνας κατέδειξαν ότι η συχνότητα χρήσης των ιστοσελίδων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης αποτελεί στατιστικά σημαντικό προγνωστικό παράγοντα της κατάθλιψης, του άγχους και του στρες. Ακόμη, φάνηκε ότι η χρήση των ιστοσελίδων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης και η κατάθλιψη παρουσιάζουν στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά ανάμεσα στα δύο φύλα σε αντίθεση με το στρες και το άγχος. Τέλος, υπήρξε σύγκριση μεταξύ της κύριας έρευνας και των παρελθοντικών ευρημάτων και παρουσιάστηκαν προτάσεις για μελλοντικές έρευνες, αλλά και περιορισμοί της τρέχουσας έρευνας. | |
